A must need for every collector! A sterling silver, handmade canteen from Navajo silversmith Ernest Thomas Bilagoody. Stamped ETB Sr.
Old style sterling silver flask, hand stamped in the traditional Navajo way. 4 1/2" x 3", 102g. total weight.
Hollow silverwork is becoming more and more difficult to find. Only a few Navajo silversmiths do this type of silverwork anymore. Two domed silver discs are put together to form the hollow flask. The flask is functional and has a tight fitting cap and safety chain.
Navajo silversmith Ernest Thomas Bilagody (ETB) was born in Tuba City, Arizona to the Red House Big Water Clan and was an active silversmith for the better part of his life. Guided by his mother early on, Ernest continued those traditions into his adult years. He worked as a silversmith for over 35 years until his passing in 2014.
